We, the developers of XCglobe Mobile, respect the privacy of our users, and do not collect information from you without your knowledge. Collection of Your Geo-Location Information
The main purpose of the XCglobe Mobile application is to view activities of paraglider pilots, registered at xcglobe.com web site.
How it works
The user may enable the “Live Tracking” feature (disabled by default). When “Live Tracking” is enabled, once a minute your location is sent to the xcglobe.com server. In that case your location and tracklog is visible to other xcglobe.com users in real time. We keep the tracklog in a database for 1-2 days.
Where the data is stored
If “Live tracking” is enabled, the tracklog is stored on xcglobe.com server. Live tracking data is deleted from the server after 2 days.
What data is collected
Tracklog file consists of GPS coordinates and user’s personal data (name, paraglider model). Personal data is optional and can be entered and edited in xcglobe.com web site.
Online Postings
If you have "Live tracking" enabled, your tracklog may be viewed by all users and may be publicly distributed outside the Application in perpetuity.
